This has been a busy week. We were happy to see our French Immersion classes learning about other Francophone countries around the world. Thank you to the CPF for supporting this initiative & giving our English Classes an opportunity to learn about these places as well.
Science Fair on Wednesday was full of interesting experiments & Scientific learning. Thank you to the parents who had a chance to come & visit the Fair. Our younger classes enjoyed seeing the projects as well. Students who will be going to the District Science Fair need parent support & those students need to have something to keep them busy during the day. They will be judged on their project if they attend the District Fair.
Boys Basketball were victorious in the playdowns and then went down to a tough defeat against Dragon Lake during the finals at Riverview School on Wednesday. It was a great season overall & Mrs. Peterson & Mme Volk are proud of how well the boys played.
Our Gr. 6 & 7 students enjoyed their last ski day on Friday - a great end to a busy week. Students who are expecting a refund can come to the office, and we will get that back to you as soon as possible.
Next week we have our Gr. 4/5 & Gr. 4/5/6 classes going curling three times. To save on bussing costs the students will spend half their time in town taking in as many sites as possible.
The Girls Basketball Team are gearing up for their playdowns on Monday at Red Bluff/Lhtako. Good luck girls!
