Celebration of Science
The District Celebration of Science is an opportunity for students to display and communicate their scientific thinking and learning with the broader community. At the celebration, students will have an opportunity to showcase their work (formats may include science boards, displays, models, digital slides, etc.), speak to their projects, and offer and receive feedback from peers to help them grow in their work. (Feedback format: two stars and a next step)
At the District Event, there will be both an open period of time for outside guests to visit, including the student body at Voyageur, and then a closed period of time for students to work more closely with each other. Students will have a chance to win door prizes, and each student will receive a participatory certificate.
