First Nations Artifacts

I am visiting classrooms, sharing the amazing artifacts that my two wonderful uncle's Norman and Adam William lent me. I also grew up with these. My uncles know that I deeply care about all of the students and the importance of teaching them culture. My uncle's care about students they have never met. They both worked together to collect their artifacts for me so I can share them with the amazing students.

Memorial Walk & Assembly

Today, May 27, 2025, the students and staff of ÉRBL gathered to observe the anniversary of the discovery of 215 unmarked graves at the Kamloops Indian Residential School site. In May 2021, the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc Nation announced the discovery of 215 unmarked graves at the site of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School. Ms. Geraldine William led our students through songs alongside our student drummers. Ms. William was then joined by students and staff for a memorial walk throughout the school grounds.

TRYOUT DAY

Yesterday was the last practice and try out to qualify for the District Track & Field Meet coming up next week at Correlieu.

Our students showed amazing talent and skill!  We have an estimated 40 students attending

The entire student body enjoyed the student dashes, cheering on their fellow students.

And finally, the "Special Teacher's Race" was a big hit!  Thank you to those parents who lent us the blow up costumes!

Happy Earth Day!

ÉRBL celebrated Earth Day by cleaning up our school and surrounding property! The kids had a blast and should be very proud of themselves for making a difference!

  • Small changes, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.
  • Plant a tree today — grow a future tomorrow.
  • Nature doesn't need us, but we need nature.
  • Be the green you want to see in the world.
  • Sustainability isn't a trend — it's a necessity.

St. Patrick's Day Shenanigans

Before Spring Break, Mme Suzie created another magical setting for St. Patrick's Day!  The kids in her class built Leprechaun traps to catch the sneaky guy in the act!  In the morning, their traps were destroyed and they even found his beard hair stuck in them!

Also, they couldn't find their inside shoes and discovered the Leprechaun had hung them from the ceiling in the office!

And to top it all off, he peed in the sink and left a trail of poop on the floor!

It was another successful St. Patrick's Day!
