French Immersion Week!

French Immersion week is happening April 20-27.  This year, we are again celebrating French around the world with French Immersion classes sharing facts and foods about a French country with English classes at École Red Bluff Lhtako.  Here are this year's featured countries or places: Belgium, Switzerland, St-Pierre-et-Miquelon, France, Djibouti and Cameroon.  During the week, there will be assemblies, Bingo, speech presentations (Patati Patata), a movie at the Carib theatre and a French book fair.  The special events will wrap up on April 27 with a music concert by Éloïz at the Correlieu Theatre as part of her B.C. tour.  The week has been made possible by CPF socio-cultural grants and ImmersART grant for the music concert.  A big thank you to our French Immersion teachers for planning and supporting these special activities!
